Garden Photographer of the Year 2008 Competition

Dear Secretary,

We are now calling for entries for Garden Photographer of the Year 2008. This exciting competition is open to all photographers and not only will winners qualify for up to £10 000 worth of cash and prizes, but they will also have their photographs displayed amongst the botanical delights of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, London in the summer of 2008.

Free lecture for your camera club from leading photographer Clive Nichols

Entrants uploading pictures by 30th September 2007, will have the chance to win a free* lecture from leading professional photographer, Clive Nichols, for their camera club. Entrants should go to www.gpoty.org and follow the instructions to upload their pictures.

At the checkout page, they should enter the special promotional code, CCCN0907 in order to qualify.

Clive Nichols will then choose his personal favourite. The winner will receive a lecture from Clive Nichols for his/her Camera Club. (All photographs including the winning image entered in this offer will go forward to the main competition judging in the normal way).

When entering descriptive information about your shot, Camera Club members are encouraged to write brief details about their Camera Club.
(Professional photographers wishing to photograph at Kew Gardens should contact pr@kew.org to obtain a photography permit.)
