Ripon City Photographic Society

Established in 1949. The Society exists to further the skills, interests and enjoyment of all types of photography. It provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on photographic techniques, and encourages an appreciation of the artistic and creative side of photography. Members of all levels of achievement are encouraged to show and discuss their work. No photographic knowledge required - just enjoy viewing photographs and the night out!

January 2003 : Society member Andrew Linscott a finalist in the BBC Countyfile/Radio Times Photographic Competition 2003


ANDREW LINSCOTT was one of the finalists in this years BBC Countryfile / Radio Times Photographic Competition. Andrew's photo of Golspie Burn was also chosen by Patrick Litchfield as his favourite. The photograph, with the other 12 finalists is featured in the BBC Countryfile Radio Times Calendar 2003.

The calendar costs £8.50, which includes £4 per calendar to the BBC Children In Need Appeal, postage and packing and all distribution and printing costs.
