Summer 2007, Digital Workshops
Ripon City Photographic Society has many members who have a wealth of experience in digital photography.
You can take advantage of this expertise at our summer digital workshops held in our traditional home of Hugh Ripley Hall.
Beginner or experienced photographer digital Photography is the future and has brought back to the ordinary person the possibility to take, process, print or display their pictures as they want. You are invited to attend our workshops and learn more about digital photography and photo processing. Learn how to improve your skills and increase your knowledge of digital photography.
The price is £2 for members, £5 for non-members and £3 for non-members who bring along their own lap top.

"From Camera to Print"
Introduction to digital photography
If you have your own laptop bring it along and enjoy the reduced rate.
Monday May 14th
7.30-9.30 pm
The second session in our digital workshops.
In this session, by having more than one tutor, we will cater for both beginners and the more experienced.
On this evening we will cover an introduction to photo-processing and, for the more experienced photographer, digital manipulation.
If you have your own laptop bring it along and enjoy the reduced rate.
Monday June 11th
7.30-9.30 pm
The third of our four sessions of digital photography catering for the beginner and for the more experienced. Tonight the programme will cover the following subjects:- colour, highlights and shadows, hue and saturation, brightness and contrast, gradients If you have your own laptop bring it along and enjoy the reduced rate.
Monday July 9th
7.30-9.30 pm
The last in our four monthly summer sessions.
Again we are catering for the beginner and the more experienced digital photographer, with several tutors, this session will cover more aspects of processing your digital photographs.
